Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)
The Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), established by the Financial Stability Board (FSB) in 2015, the TCFD is a global initiative aimed at creating recommendations for voluntary climate-related financial risk disclosures. Its goal is to help companies report on how climate change could affect their operations, as well as how they are managing related risks and opportunities.
The TCFD’s recommendations are designed to enhance transparency, enabling investors, regulators, and stakeholders to make informed decisions about climate-related risks and opportunities, ultimately supporting a more sustainable financial system.
